From his young days in Queensland, to the Bulldogs, Kangaroos, NZ Warriors and State of Origin, Steve is as well known and respected off the field as he is on the field. Australian Cricketing legend and broadcaster Ian Healy brings his experience and humour to the role of Emcee. Alan Jones, host of Sydney's most popular breakfast programme, 2GB, and often described as one of Australia's most influential broadcasters, along with his coaching background as Australian Rugby Union Coach and Balmain Tigers coach is sure to be entertaining. Murray Deaker provides a Kiwi insight on Steve and sport in New Zealand. The entertainment continues with former teammates reminiscing on the highlights, lowlights and inside stories of Steve's career

Due to unforseen circumstances previously advertised guests Ray Warren and Wayne Bennett are now unable to attend.

Sky City have created a 3 course tribute menu to be enjoyed alongside Lion Red, Steinlager Pure and a range of Wither Hills wine. Special guest Tiki Tane will perform, followed by live entertainment to complete the evening.
