Omaha Beach Campground is located on the fringe of the Omaha tidal estuary and a is pleasant 5 minute walk to Omaha beach. A NYE bus service will also be available for campground guests to and from the event which is a 5 minute journey by vehicle.

This location is perfect for Jet Ski's and Wakeboarding so feel free to make use of natures best facilities on the doorstep of your campsite.
We say YES to; Tents, Sunblock, Hats, French Kissing, Sleeping Bags, Fun, Mattresses, Plasters, Medicine, Sun, Painkillers, Swimming Shorts, Bikinis and Jandals.
We say NO to; Glass Vessels and Containers, Animals, People Under 18, Bad Attitudes, Open Flames (including gas burners, cookers or BBQs) Next To Other Peoples Tents!
Relevant Info:
Upon check in you will need to register your vehicle details and display the card provided on your dash. Failing to display your card could see your car towed.
Clean your campsite and general area especially upon departure. We dont want to clean up your mess so make use of additional rubbish bags available from the check in area. Rubbish receptacles will be situated all over the site and cleared daily.
Arrive with your crew where possible for check-in. This will ensure you can set-up near one another as spaces cannot be held for extended periods.
A shuttle bus to the Omaha Golf Club, (licensed premises) will run from the car park from 11-7pm each day.
Hot food and snacks will be available on site during normal trading hours with a restaurant/diner next door to the campground.

Do you have to be attending Highlife NYE to stay at OBC?
Yes! Get those event tickets asap and book your camping now.
Is there an age restriction for the campgrounds?
Yes it is R18. If in doubt we will ask for ID.
Can glass bottles be brought into the campgrounds?
No! Council law wont allow for any glass vessels on site.
Can we bring alcohol into the campground?
Unfortunately No, due to beach resource consent alcohol cannot be brought into the site but it will be available for sale from designated areas on site.
Can we bring a BBQ?
Unfortunately No, however there will be designated areas for cooking on site. Food will be available and there are loads of great places for eating within minutes walk/drive.
What are the facilities/toilets/showers like?
Facilities are basic and adequate. Port-a-loos will be on site and serviced daily. Portable shower facilities will be made available for use at a minimal cost.
Can we bring our car into the campground?
Yes, but not right next to your tent site. 24 hour security patrolled carparking is available on site, easily and functionally accessible to all campground guests.
How about camper vans?
Campground is for tenting only. If you are looking for a location to stay/park your campervan, please email karn@highlifeentertainment.co.nz for further info.
What time is check out?
Check out is 12pm each day but will be way more relaxed after NYE.
Will my tent be safe at OPC while I am out enjoying the sun, beaches and party?
We take security very seriously and anyone not supposed to be on site will be dealt with swiftly. 24 hour security will be on site but any dodgy or suspicious persons should be reported asap. We take no responsibility for loss of any kind and we advise you to think carefully about what you leave unattended. Use your initiative.
Is there anywhere I can charge my cell phone or plug in my hair dryer?
Yes. Ports for power will be made available between 11am-5pm each day available at a minimal cost.
