Back by popular demand! Internationally renowned composer, conductor and arranger, Russell Garcia, is a legend in the truest sense of the word. He virtually created the sound track for the West Coast jazz scene in the the United States, writing and arranging for Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Anita O'Day, Mel Torme and Stan Keaton - just to name a few.

In celebration of his 95th birthday, Mr Garcia shares the stage with his most recent collaborator, award winning New York jazz vocalist, Shaynee Rainbolt, joining them on stage are award winning jazz singers Terese Genecco and Tim Beveridge.

For one magic night only, Garcia, Rainbolt, Genecco and Beveridge join forces to celebrate the man and his music, performing both the Garcia Songbook and popular jazz favourites, all arranged and conducted by the master himself.

"An amazing experience and chance to hear some brilliant music in the company of a music legend," says Tim Beveridge, producer and host of this show, and long time friend of the 'maestro'.

$5 from every seat will be donated to the Red Cross Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.
