Five high school students who take level two NCEA Business Studies have been given the brief to "Carry out, review and refine a business activity within a community context with guidance." For their business activity they have chosen to run a fashion show complete with drinks and nibbles.
Their chosen charity to sponsor for the evening is Autism New Zealand Inc. all profit from tickets and sales on the evening will be donated to Autism New Zealand Inc. On the evening a representative to give a brief talk about the charity. In addition to the fashion show there will also be silent auctions taking place with generously donated goods.
The venue is the Lonely Dog Art Gallery, located in the historic Barrington Building on Customs Street. The art gallery has many limited edition art pieces created by Ivan Clarks, including fine-art giclee prints on museum quality canvas and lithographs on paper.

Wine has been kindly supplied by Caro's wines and clothes will include showings from Annah Stretton, Claire Barker, Precious Peg and Scotties Boutique.
