The FORD NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE will showcase the best domestic hockey in New Zealand when teams from the eight Regions take each other on to compete for the Challenge Shield (Men) and the K Cup (Women).

The League starts off with a double header weekend on 18-19 August with all teams playing matches at home. The following week the teams all centralise in Auckland to play the remainder of the tournament with five days of round robin matches, followed by semi-finals then the grand finals day on Sunday 2nd September.

Start the Ford National Hockey League grand finals day in style at Lloyd Elsmore Hockey Stadium with a full cooked breakfast, followed by a live interview with special guest Black Sticks Women's Coach Mark Hager.
