He was born the Forth and the most promising son to the late Padit Chaturbhaj Rathod of Aditya gharana of Jamnagar. The exponent of the rare Dhrupad gayaki.To date he has several chartbusting song like "Maula mere Maula", "Tere Liye from Veer Zara" and 'Rab ne bana di jodi the list is endless.
