Opera Off Broadway premieres a double-bill of two new award-winning chamber operas, 'Ulla's Odyssey' & 'Love Thy Neighbour'.

'Ulla's Odyssey'
An enchanting nautical fantasy about a young girl's solo sail around the world and the mythical creatures and environmental obstacles she encounters on her journey. Music composed by Anthony Young with libretto by Leanna Brodie.

After an interval this work will be followed by...

'Love Thy Neighbour'
A delicious tragi-comedy about a spinster gardening guru, her prize-winning turnip called 'Winston' and her battles with a neighbouring, niggling, asthmatic, hypochondriac! Music and libretto composed by Callum Blackmore.

These two operas were the winning entries in Opera Factory's recent nationwide compositional contest. The new works are suitable for all ages and will be directed by Sally Sloman and accompanied by David Kelly.
