Sketch Comedy meets Morning News!

Morning News Zealand is a current affairs show, brought to you every morning by Wayne Downdeboat and Anne Kerr. Times are tough in the world of breakfast entertainment, with word that the show's producer Jay Vernon is looking to replace them with hit new show Revelation. Could this be the end of Morning News Zealand? Or can Wayne, Anne, and their team of enthusiastic journalists improve their ratings and save the show?

Morning News Zealand is a reunion show for seven of the cast of ten. They met in the Otago University Capping Show and performed together for over five years. They moved to Wellington where they got jobs, wives, husbands and mortgages. Despite being grownups the passion for being silly and writing comedy sketches stayed strong, so they teamed up with three of Wellington's funniest improvisers to make a brand new show. There will be interviews, dancing, robots, cats, videos, pirates, politics, walruses, music, and a great night of fun.
