The collective use traditional modern band instruments - but the music seeks to stretch beyond standard song structures, rhythm and timbres. Synthesised noise, sound samples and spoken form an important part of the soundscape.

Performers are overlaid with projected images created using edited archival footage, original photography and live video synths.

Improvisation forms an important part of the Collectives performance philosophy. This enables the Collective to adapt and take inspiration from the performance environment and with each piece becoming a fresh interpretation.
