WAITAKERE ORCHESTRA, conducted by Brigid Ursula Bisley, presents a concert of the following works: the Handel Concerto Grosso in B flat, Opus 3, No.2 featuring solo violin, cello and obe; Weber Clarinet Quintet with top kiwi soloist Rowan Meade; Grieg's much loved Holberg Suite, and finally The Unanswered Question by Charles Ives. Mysterious and contemplative, a solo trumpet and an offstage wind quartet play against a haunting background of strings.
