In association with Auckland's Rescue Helicopter Trust, the Snapper Festival aim's to create a long term iconic event for the Auckland City and Takapuna Beach where the message is This is our... "Kiwi summer"!

ACTIVITIES
Grilling, water display's, stage shows, water activities, family zone, take a kid fishing, water entertainment, sports, celebrity cooks, comedians, shopping. Water demos from Flyboard Family, Sup and Waka AMA.

MUSIC
New Zealand acts, Singers, DJ's and performers spanning the genres of Alternative, House, Disco, Rock, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Latin, Indie, Reggae and mix of 60's, 70's, 80's.

LIVE PERFORMANCES
Sola Rosa, P Money, Late Night Hype, TNT, Coopers Run, top Auckland DJs, plus many more.

EDUCATE
Involving the wider community in this event will allow key education lines to ensure marine safety and fish stocks are understood and respected throughout the gulf! e.g. Water safety.

COMPETE
We bring together Family and fun. Beach digs, stand up paddling, dragon boating, sand art & castle entries, open grill contest, celebrity cooking and much more...

The FCO longest snapper fishing competition will be based from Takapuna Beach and throughout the Gulf 'biggest fish...biggest prize."
