This 21st century fun version of HMS Pinafore is given fresh topical treatment, to provide rollicking good entertainment. In this production based on the Australian version newly adapted by Simon Gallagher, further changes have been made. These changes link in with things "kiwi" with some satirical jabs at local politics. The solos and duets remain essentially as the original, while some of the choruses have been given a modern twist.

Its rousing choruses and well known songs provided by a talented and high energy cast include; "We sail the ocean blue", "I am called little Buttercup", "When I was a lad" and "For he is an Englishman"'.

This is a must for all G&S fans. Director Jane Barnett and Musical Director Coryn Knapper join together as a well-known team along with Rebekah Yells as choreographer.
