Adrenalin fills the air; the sweet smell of petrol and gasps of amazement followed by rapturous applause means only one thing – Big Boys Toys has thrown itself headfirst back into Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds all for your entertainment.  Friday November 8 to Sunday November 10 will see New Zealand’s premier lifestyle and entertainment once again thrill kiwis of all ages and stages.  

In 2013 the Skinny Mobile Action Arena guarantees plenty heart-in-mouth moments with a strong line-up of ultra talented FMX and BMX riders on show, led by none other than Palmerston North’s FMX Superstar; 2012 X-Fighter Champ, Levi Sherwood.  
 
This 23 year old is something of an international FMX sensation, making a huge name for himself on the extreme sports circuit in the past few years.  Back in New Zealand for a short time, Levi along with his kiwi mates Luke Smith and Mitch “Maddog” McHardy, will showcase their incredible array of back-flip, ruler and superman moves daily.
 
The Drive Rush team are New Zealand’s foremost stunt drivers, and current holders of the Guinness Book of Records for parallel parking.  At Big Boys Toys watch Peter Bell and the Drive Rush team casually get a street car up on two wheels and show off spins and slides that you see in the movies without breaking a sweat!
 
Wrapping up the arena, top international Wakeboarders Logan Collier, David Stubbs and Paul Maguire will show off their skills in the big Boys Toys purpose built wakeboard pool.
 
The Tui Public House is the perfect place to catch up with the lads for a couple of refreshing ‘oranges’, watch all the excitement in the action arena or have a laugh with the comedians Ben Hurley, Guy Williams and Jarred Fell, all while enjoying a cold Tui.
 
Heading inside to Big Boys Toys Drive, car enthusiasts will want to cast an eye over the latest collections of Renault, Volvo, Nissan and Suzuki as well as pause longingly to admire The Giltrap Group’s prestige vehicles from Audi, Aston Martin, Bentley, Volkswagen, Porsche and Lamborghini.
 
For those who like to lean into corners, Big Boys Toys Drive is a mecca for all motorcycle lovers with the latest on two wheels on show from BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Honda, KTM and Suzuki.
 
From machines of the automotive kind to those of a more human specification, 140 of New Zealand’s top CrossFit athletes will push themselves to the absolute limit when they compete in CrossFit Auckland’s Battle of the Fittest competition.  Muscle Ups, Squats, KB Swings, Double Unders and more teeth-gritting moves are all there and ready to test even the fittest of the fit.
