Paramount Pictures NZ and Seriously Entertainment present the Charity Gala World Premiere of “Broken Glass” plus a special screening of J.J. Abrams’ “Super 8” in benefit of Shine; New Zealand’s largest domestic abuse charity organisation.

On Monday 25 November at 8.30pm we will be holding the World Premiere of our acclaimed fantasy short film “Broken Glass” at The Embassy Theatre in Wellington. Subject to us fundraising enough to cover the event hire costs, 100% of money raised from ticket sales for this event will be going straight to Shine; New Zealand’s largest domestic abuse charity organisation who endorsed the film from script stage. www.2shine.org.nz

“Broken Glass” is the story of 12 year old Max Petersen who is being bullied at school and has an abusive father at home. One day when playing alone in the woods, he encounters a mysterious creature that soon changes his life forever.

Written and Directed by award-winning filmmaker Chaz Harris, the film was independently funded and shot in Wellington on the RED Epic camera (also used to film The Hobbit). The film will be available to rent or buy via Vimeo On Demand from 26 November 2013 with 50% of revenue generated from this also going to Shine.
