Plains is an award winning surreal comedy, written by Wellington playwright Harry Meech, set in a pre-apocalyptic near future. It is dark, wry, cynical and most of the time simply absurd. Harry has managed to tip-toe a narrow line between depth and whimsy that gives each moment of Plains just the right levels of drama and smirk.
