NEW ZEALAND BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOUR 2015

The NZ Beach Volleyball Tour is a series of events held around the North Island. The Tour is the pinnacle of our sport in New Zealand and features top local players together with international athletes from USA, Germany, Netherlands Australia and the Pacific.

The Tour consists of five events, which includes again after a four-year hiatus the NZ Open in Auckland.

The Tour climaxes at Auckland’s ASB Bank Tennis Centre with court 1 transformed into an ideal beach volleyball venue with 100 cubic metres of sand. This event will again become the highlighted event of the National Tour with an expected 9000 spectators.

The NZ Open includes 12 teams in both the men’s and women’s fields, made up of international teams, and the top local’s qualifying from the earlier tour events.

New Zealand’s Best will be attempting to win the NZ Open, and start their season well as they lead into the Asian Tour and Olympic Qualification.
