Whitebait fritters and waterfront fireworks, yes please!

Celebrate Auckland’s 175th birthday celebration with the ASB Auckland Seafood Festival!

Join us for a special seafood night soiree with a prime view of the fireworks on Sunday 25 January, 6.30pm – 10pm (fireworks begin at 9.30pm).

Overlooking Waitemata Harbour from Halsey Wharf, Wynyard Quarter, you will have the best seats in town to view the fireworks with more than 100 delicious seafood dishes on offer across 50 pop-up stands.

From garlic buttered scampi and plump Bluff oysters to roasted groper belly and whitebait fritters, you’ll find the perfect seafood feast for your dinner.

The Monteith’s Beer Garden will be open for you to grab a cold one, with their full range of Monteith’s cider and beer on offer. Other options including Champagne Bollinger, Villa Maria’s Private Bin selection and Charlie’s soda range. The stage will be in full swing with a line up of Kiwi acts to keep you on your feet, so wear your dancing shoes!

With a limited 4,000 tickets, you will need to act quickly to secure your spot.

We think ‘VIP’ stands for Very Intelligent Person (and important, of course!). This is because this ticketing option gives you perhaps the biggest catch for cash (and wouldn’t it make a perfect gift?!).

      Bollinger VIP Experience includes:

      • Priority access to the Festival
      • Comfortable seating and ambient VIP space with live entertainment and views of the city
      • Private bar and seafood station/canapés
      • $50 credit on your own ASB Auckland Seafood Festival Shell Card to spend at any stall

VIP passes and Shell Card will be presented to you at the gate upon presentation and scanning of your ticket.

      We’re going cashless
The ASB Auckland Seafood Festival is going cashless for your convenience – and it’s simple..

You’ll need an ASB Auckland Seafood Festival Shell Card for all your purchases at the Festival – we won’t be taking cash and we won’t be running EFTPOS from 2015 onwards. You either get a ASB Auckland Seafood Festival Shell Card when you buy your tickets here or you can get one and load it up when you turn up to the Festival gates.

Either way you will find your experience at the Festival simpler, faster and more straightforward than ever before. And any leftover cash on the ASB Auckland Seafood Festival Shell Card is refunded to you as you exit – brilliant!

If you’ve got little nippers, register them for Tradezone Kids Gone Fishin’ held from 10am-noon both Saturday and Sunday. The kids can join Festival ambassador and star of Gone Fishin’, Graeme Sinclair and the team from Blue Light for a great morning of fishing at Wynyard Quarter. You don’t even need to bring a fishing rod, all kids registered will receive a hand line and free bait to get them started.  It’s the perfect way to start to the day before heading over the Festival!

Our venue is wheelchair friendly and if you require disabled parking, please contact us at info@aucklandseafoodfestival.co.nz
