The wait is over and the notorious Automania Automotive Festival is back for 2015. Bigger & better this year sees a host of new areas, attractions and changes that takes Automania 2015 to the next level and once again the show remains

Nankang Radial Live Action Arena (Live Drift/Gymkhana & Action demonstrations)

That action packed Live Action Arena is back once again this time with more activity throughout the day and extra attractions. The live Drift Demos are back of course Featuring: The Nankang Drift team –‘Cs’ Garage Adam & Joel Hedges, Achilles Radial Drift team of Andrew Redward & Bruce Tannock

Meguiars Show & Shine Premium Indoor Car Show

A new addition to the Automania 2015 event, the premium indoor show is now proudly presented by Meguiars and will be the opportunity to display your best work! Showcasing some of the most outstanding cars you will come across from top level show cars to full noise Horse Power Race car monsters. Last year was just a teaser compared to this year’s line up

For the competitors the Meguiars Premium Show & Shine is now split into two different options, we have a VERY limited number of large space displays, (15 to be exact) and are encouraging you to get your car in and setup with a wild display there will be a prize for the best overall display of a car! Then we have the premium show spaces, these are smaller and are the chance to put your better than average street car or your clubs BEST 5 cars on display.

Street car show – Outdoor Display cars

The Automania 2014 Street Car show had some of the countries coolest, smoothest, most aggressive and everything in-between on display and really showed the culture of the New Zealand scene. For the competitors again changes made for the 2015 show, with the massive success of 2014 we have expanded the space so we can fit more cars into the show! Split into two categories, Street A and Street B. 

Street A is for those that want to compete against other street cars, this section is judged with prizes on offer for individuals and clubs alike. With Premium show spots right outside the doors to the stadium and closest to the entertainment as well these spots will be hot (But very limited - for the serious Streeter)

Street B is for individuals and clubs who want to come along and enjoy the festival and showcase their pride & joy and represent their club in a massive Hard-park environment right next to the Nankang Live Action Arena & Drift track. With over 300 cars on display and the Street Show selling out last year we have increased the capacity but spots will still be limited to first in first served.

• Come and marvel at some of New Zealands top show vehicles, be blown away by crazy engineering, massive horse power and crazy bodywork by the insane motorsport machines that will be on display from some of our top race cars in the country. 

COMPETITOR INFORMATION

• Registration open now 
• Premium Indoor Display (Large)
  100 Limited to 15 vehicles only , this is for those who really want to make an impact with their display!
• Premium Indoor Display (Regular)
  Restricted to just 50 cars we are inviting individuals and clubs who have some of those really well built cars to come along and display here! (Limited space, be sure to choose only the finest vehicles in your club) $60 per car (clubs $250 per 5 cars additional spaces at $60 each)
• Street A (Outdoor) 
  For those that want to compete against other street cars, this section is judged with prizes on offer for individuals and clubs alike. The best parking in the house and closest to the entertainment as well! This will sell out very fast and it is limited to just 90 cars. $30 per car (clubs $250 per 10 cars, additional cars at $25 each)
• Street B (Outdoor, Hardpark) 
  For those that want to come along and enjoy the day but are not too fussed on competing for prizes we have setup a massive zone to cater to that! You are welcome to bring your gazebos and chairs (please no BBQ’s) Cost $20 per car ($25 on the day)
• DB Drag NZ Sound Off 
  The foundations are ready to shake and the Richter scale ready to bounce once again at Automania this year as the SPL Drag racing returns! Parked up in your own premium ‘Street A’ area this will be a fully sanctioned event and your scores will be recorded! Tickets $30 per car.
