BHARATANATYAM- A thematic Indian classical dance production
Natraj School of Dance presents a thematic Indian classical dance production on “BHARATANATYAM."
Bharatanatyam is the name of the classical art form bringing the key elements of the art form namely; Bhavam - Expression, Ragam - Music and Thalam - Rhythm together in Natyam - Story telling. The show will be in the form of a dance drama.
The production will present dances that highlight the key elements in the first half of the show and bring together all the three elements in telling the story of Lord Rama. Lord Rama is the 7th Avatar of Lord Vishnu, the protector.
Lord Rama was an embodiment of an ideal human on earth and lived his life showcasing the best human values and behaviours that one needs to adopt to live in harmony and peace.
