40th-anniversary of the 1981 Springbok Tour protests
Celebrating the fight against apartheid in 1981 AND stepping up the fight against apartheid in Israel in 2021.
Former HART National Organizer John Minto is speaking at meetings around the country which follow the 1981 Springbok tour dates.
John is also the current chair of the Palestine Solidarity Network Aotearoa.
2021 has been a turning point in the Palestinian struggle as the wider world now understands Israel as an apartheid state.
Palestinians and South Africans have always seen Israel in this light.
New Zealand made headlines around the world standing in support of black South Africans suffering under apartheid. It's time to do it again and speak out on racial injustice in Palestine!
Kerikeri will be one of the 17 centres on the national tour of the 40th Anniversary of the 1981 Springbok tour.
