An aspiring composer questions his life choices on the eve of his thirtieth birthday in Jonathan Larson's autobiographical musical TICK, TICK….BOOM! about life, death and the necessity of art. It is 1990 and Jon’s girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city. His best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue, yet Jon is still waiting on tables and trying to write the great American musical.
