      Handmade

Creatives will converge in the Capital this Queen's Birthday weekend to celebrate the art of making at Handmade 2015.

Over 50 workshops offer a range of hands-on experiences, from dumplings and screen-printing, to apothecary, graphic design and leatherwork.

Explore the intricacies of painting and sculpting from some of the world's best technicians at Weta Workshop, learn how to plate up winter tapas with culinary star Ruth Pretty or create your own botanical skincare range with The Wellington Apothecary.

Try your hand at leatherwork with Heleen Webb, or travel back in time with Alexis Murti to create the perfect Swiss cheese fondue.

On Saturday night, join us for the Handmade Night Market 2015, where you can purchase New Zealand made products from independent creators and designers and meet the makers themselves.

When:  Saturday 30 May & Sunday 31 May
      Where:   Various locations, Wellington
Ticket information:   Workshops priced individually, purchase below per workshop. Visit HandmadeNZ.co.nz for more details.
