This event has probably been and gone!
The 1930s were not all glitz and glamour. Napier Prison, which operated as a prison for nearly 130 years, housed both male and female prisoners. It is also the only place in Napier where some of the 1931 earthquake damage has been left untouched. Take a guided night tour through the prison, hear stories of the prisoners in the 1930s. You might even get a fright. Canapes upon arrival. Tours every 30 minutes.
