Irish writer and historian Mary Kenny’s dramatised interpretation of the unlikely friendship between arch-Imperialist Statesman Winston Churchill and Irish rebel Michael Collins. Meeting in 1921, when Collins was sent to London for secret negotiations with the British government, the two instinctively disliked each other until one night Churchill invited the Sein Fein leader to his home for a drink. Here, Kenny captures the uneasy respect between two giants of Anglo-Irish history.
