For the first time ever, Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen in association with Fire Dragon Chillies, are extending their third annual Hot Sauce Festival across the entire weekend, with over 100 hot sauces from 15+ iconic NZ brands.

All ticket holders receive a complimentary bottle of limited edition Fire Dragon Chillies x Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen hot sauce, made especially for the festival. All hot sauces at the festival are available to purchase on the day.

Fire Dragon Chillies creator Clint Meyer has brought his love for all things hot to none other than his old school friend Mark Jackson, owner of Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen, who conveniently has just the thing to wash the heat down...beer. Among the fiery line up will be at least 6 World Hot Sauce Award Champion winning sauces, live music, fiery cocktails, chilli beers and a spicy smokehouse food menu, created especially for the festival.
This year’s festival will also include the final of the 2018 NZ Chilli Eating Champs, an event in its 8th year featuring the world’s hottest chilli, the Carolina Reaper.
For all the chilli heads out there, a homemade hot sauce competition will be judged by NZ’s hot sauce producers, with gold taking away prizes from Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen and Fire Dragon Chillies, and of course bragging rights.
