Back again for 2018, some Fonterra farmers are opening their gates so New Zealanders have the opportunity to go on farm, learn about how Fonterra farmers care for our environment and what happens on a dairy farm.
As fifth generation farmers, Sam, Jo and their two daughters Chole and Ruby are immensely proud of their family history. They have been able to set up a model dairy farm – with some of the latest bells and whistles to look after both the cows and the environment. Managing the farm and its environment is hard work - but with the support of farm managers Will and Sarah they’ve been able to achieve plenty to carry their family’s legacy into the future. So come and meet them, find out more, and get to know where your food comes from as they open their gates to New Zealand.
