Join Te Tuhi for a visit to Gibbs Farm, the internationally renowned sculpture park situated on the Kaipara Harbour.
Boasting a remarkable array of large-scale sculptures by local and international artists including Chris Booth, Daniel Buren, Neil Dawson, Andy Goldsworthy, Anish Kapoor, Sol LeWitt, Len Lye, and Richard Serra – this exclusive property is available to visit by special appointment only. This ticket offers a rare opportunity to view this amazing 400ha sculpture park.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the Te Tuhi Commissioning Fund, supporting the creation of ambitious, new artworks. Despite being a small organisation with limited funds, Te Tuhi’s commissioning programme has made an incredible impact on New Zealand’s contemporary art scene. The last 5 years have been particularly successful over which Te Tuhi has commissioned almost 90 significant new artworks and built a remarkable track record of supporting artists at pivotal points in their careers. Recent commissions include Shannon Te Ao’s moving image work With the sun aglow, I have my pensive moods for the Edinburgh Art Festival, and Yona Lee’s large-scale, site responsive installation In Transit (Arrival).
Pack a picnic for a day out in the sun, or opt for an Eat My Lunch pack and you’ll be supporting a Kiwi kid in need. Tickets are likely to sell out fast, so get a group together and join us at Gibbs Farm.
