The Manawa Ora season commences and will showcase at Basement Theatre for 2018.

Manawa Ora is in its sixth consecutive year and showcases a creative ensemble of movement, music and monologue created by the teens alongside their teaching artists over a 5-day series of workshops. Director Aroha Silenzio brings together the works of over 15 young people to form a transformative audience experience like no other.

An exploration of young people navigating relationships, creating connection through reflection that form the invisible threads that tie them to self, whanau and community. The Invisible Threads theme represents the significance of having positive healthy relationships in life and working through conflict. This is their story, their voices, their journey.

Please arrive 15 minutes before show start time. Latecomers admitted into the theatre at Basement's discretion – no refunds will be given.
