Maoriland Charitable Trust has created M.A.T.C.H to enable and mentor our rangatahi to be leaders in the creative tech industry.

Korakora Matihiko is a two week expo with Indigenous games, indigenous games, animation, vr & 360 and comics including rangatahi workshops and public korero. 

M.A.T.C.H - Maoriland's tech creative hub will put new technology in the hands of our rangatahi. 


INDIGI LAB are working to create a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians are leading in science, technology and digital innovation. 

In 2020 INDIGI LAB will host the first INDIGI HACK, a 2 day hackathon for youth 8-18 with an aim to unite youth in Australia and across the globe to develop technology to support Indigenous language revitalisation.

INDIGI LAB’s Renee Cawthorne and Indigenous coder Matthew Ngamurarri Heffernan will present a rangatahi workshop and public korero exploring how we create digital projects with real impact.

INDIGI LAB will present a rangatahi workshop (only 30 spaces available!) and a one-off public korero. Tickets to this event are $6, rangatahi are free.

M.A.T.C.H runs from May 17 - June 1 at the Maoriland Hub.
