Original story by Hans Christian Anderson.  Adapted for stage by Paul Percy and Directed by Deborah Percy

Prince Rupert has been told that it is time for him to be married, but his wife has to be a real princess and chosen for him by his mother, Queen Marit!

While Rupert’s faithful friend the Jester and his fairy Godfather console him, the Queen sends the pompous four Dukes of Tweedle on a quest to the islands of the Pacific, the frozen North, the jungles of Africa, and the mysterious Orient in search of the perfect princess.

But will these princesses be good enough for the Queen, and why is the King keeping strangely silent, and who is Emmaline?  She says she's a Princess, but she certainly doesn't act like one!  And last but not least, who is "The Pea" and what could she have to do with the final decision?
