This event has probably been and gone!
With 20 years’ illustrating experience in New Zealand and internationally, Craig Phillips has built a name for himself in the publishing industry and beyond. His clients range from children’s book authors to big-name rock bands Queens of the Stone Age and the Foo Fighters, but it’s his own works that have gained him a reputation as a multi-award winning artist. His first solo work, Giants, Trolls, Witches, Beasts: Ten Tales from the Deep Dark Woods won the Russell Clark Award for Illustration at the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults 2018.
Join Craig for a discussion on his career as an illustrator and how he brings his work to life.
This event is part of Puke Ariki’s Festival of Words - a fabulous four day programme that will entertain, inspire and educate.
