      An update on the 1959 classic film Black Orpheus directed by Marcel Camus.

      Pop singer Orfeu has it all - fame, a stunning fiance and to top it off he is crowned King of the Carnival. But when the beautiful and aloof Eurydice, who just moved to Rio from the Amazon, enters his world the fairytale life comes tumbling down around him.

      ORFEU is a modern telling of the tragic myth of Orpheus relived in the shantytowns of Rio de Janeiro during the colours and craziness of Carnival.
