Bigger, faster, harder and louder than any other New Year's Eve experience yet! Thundering, heart stopping explosions, sky high fireballs, crazy stunts and the hottest Kiwi bands and DJs.
Detonate Festival 2009 went off with a bang! Proving that Detonate is the coolest new kid of New Year's Eve festivals. Entertainment included a line-up that catered to all rockers tastes, DJ's spun up a storm in the dance zone and the bombing range shook Taranaki with explosive effects never seen before. A caravan was dropped from underneath a helicopter, 400m in the air. Cars, pianos, swimming pools and some sexy blow up ladies got blown to smithereens. In all over 50 explosive effects, followed by an epic New Year's Eve pyrotechnics display and MASSIVE fireballs.
2009 will be hard to beat, but the plans are in place and you lucky punters are in for a festival experience of epic proportions. It's all about bigger and better. Explosions and pyro all day including interactive fireballs and the all new Forget the Regret Car, surprise stunts, the paintball gauntlet, three Detonate Mudslides and revolving interactive entertainment. It's wet-your-pants exciting!
