Dane Rumble, whose debut album The Experiment has just entered the NZ Top 40 at number one, has been dominating Kiwi charts in the last 12 months. His hits include 'Always Be Here', 'Don't Know What To Do' and the current top Kiwi song on NZ radio 'Cruel'. Rumble and Guests will perform an All Ages show at Pukekohe Town Hall on May 15. Dane will be joined at Pukekohe by the all-girl band
Ivy Lies.
Ivy Lies, who are originally from Christchurch, have had their tune
'Addicted' doing nicely on radio and TV, where C4 is using the song in promotions. The girls have not long finished recording their debut album in Los Angeles and this summer they toured the beaches of New Zealand performing with Dane and Midnight Youth in a Coke-sponsored series.
So what's an 'All Ages' show then?
An All Ages show is something that anyone can attend but, in this instance anyway, things are focused on those U18. There's no alcohol around and parents can grab a ticket and come along too (but only if their kids allow them!).
