      SUNDOWN AT BLOOM
Featuring LADI6, THOMAS OLIVER BAND, DAVE MCARTNEY

Love the idea of BLOOM but can't make it for the weekend? Come join the fun on Saturday night for the Sundown concert at the Main Stage for the best in kiwi music from not one but three top NZ artists.

      Ladi6
Ladi6 (Karoline Tamati) brings her unique blend of hip hop, soul and funk to BLOOM Family Festival 2012.

She recently walked away with the Tuis for Best Female Solo Artist and Best Urban/Hip Hop Album at the Vodafone NZ Music Awards, held in Nov 2011. Named by Londons Metro Magazine as 'One to Watch', Ladi6 is loved for her sultry voice, razor sharp wit and a stage show to match.

      The Thomas Oliver Band
The Thomas Oliver Band have created a loyal following over the last few years, repeatedly selling out the San Francisco Bathhouse in Wellington and playing to capacity audiences around the country.

Within this time, the band have also written and recorded their debut full- length album Baby, Ill Play released in March 2011 to critical acclaim, with a debut at #12 in the NZ Top 40, and #1 in the iTunes Blues Charts in NZ and Australia.

In 2011The Thomas Oliver Band played some of the best summer series concerts including La De Da, Auckland's Zoo Music, and A Day on the Green with legends George Thorogood and Joe Cocker.

      Dave McArtney
Dave is probably best known for his solo career as one of the countrys most prominent singer-songwriters with the Pink Flamingos, originally formed with the late Paul Hewson of Dragon fame (now with a new line up - details soon) and as guitarist and co-songwriter with Graham Brazier in the legendary Ponsonby band Hello Sailor.

Twice nominated for the APRA Silver Scroll (1981 & 1995) and 5 awards at the 1981 Recording Industry Awards, for the album Dave McArtney and the Pink Flamingos, including Group of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Male vocalist, Dave has a BA in English, majoring in Renaissance poetry, and during the nineties taught in various institutions in Southern Germany
