N0ughty Girls is a show based around female friendship, collectively created by Auckland based Actors Chelsea McEwan Millar, Elizabeth McMenamin, Writer Thomas Sainsbury and Director Hera Dunleavy. Though they are no strangers to each other N0ughty Girls will be the first project where these four particular talents collaborate under the umbrella of Grublette Productions.
Their aim is to perform a hilarious and thought provoking, in depth look into what it is to be a girl, a friend, a woman in this day and age, it is ultimately a story about friendship. It contains thought provoking themes including Independence vs Loneliness and Marriage vs Career. Using Thomas Sainsbury's award winning, witty writing style, teamed with Hera Dunleavy's experience, enthusiasm and commitment and pulled off by Elizabeth and Chelsea's quirky comedy and professionally cultivated talents, N0ughty Girls is with no doubt going to be greatly received by a wide audience, making this first show by Grublette Productions a huge success and a wonderful stepping stone to future collaborations.
N0ughty Girls is targeted specifically at empowering women. That being said, the quick wit and quirky humour of the piece will not alienate a broad variety of audience members.
