BUCKET BOY
A New Play by Ashton Brown & Kat Glass
Directed by Luke Thornborough
Up and coming theatre company 'I'm Not Content Productions' is back! This time with a brand new and exciting season of BUCKET BOY: A New Play by Ashton Brown and Kat Glass.
BUCKET BOY is a quirky, comedic, and compelling drama which follows the story of Noah Situla as he finds himself living the same day 99 times. Join Noah as he must discover why he is reliving this day; how he can end the cycle; and why on earth everybody seems to be calling him 'Bucket Boy'. The show integrates multimedia, original music, and creative staging to tell a colourful and dreamlike story of love, loss, and acceptance.
A story for lovers of 'The Wizard of Oz', 'Adaptation', 'Being John Malkovich', and 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'. A story for the bewildered. A story of buckets.
Grief is a place.
BUCKET BOY is directed by Luke Thornborough and features some of Auckland's hottest talent; Jonathan P. Riley, Courtney Abbot, Tom Kane, Kat Glass, and Ashton Brown - BUCKET BOY is an experience that should not be missed. Get in quick, tickets WILL sell out.
BUCKET BOY plays at The Basement Studio for five nights this October.
