In 2012, Fashion Weekend is set to be bigger and better than ever before on Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th of September.
Following on from the hotly anticipated New Zealand Fashion Week 2012, Fashion Weekend offers stunning catwalk shows, seminars, beauty, discounted designer shopping, giveaways, DJs, stylish bars, and an exclusive VIP bar, all across two full days from 10am to 6.30pm.
Situated at the beautiful Viaduct Events Centre for the second year running, Fashion Weekend is THE place to experience the thrilling buzz and energy of Fashion Week. Now held over two full days, Fashion Weekend promises to provide something for everyone, with the most exciting line up to date!
A new ticket structure has been introduced in 2012 to provide you with freedom and flexibility when purchasing your tickets to Fashion Weekend. Its simple to see one seminar or three, two shows or five, or a little bit of everything! It works like this:
- $12 gives you entry to the venue and Designer Garage Sale, to score incredible designer bargains and enjoy the day with friends at our fabulous bars, listening to the sounds of GeorgeFM DJs, and making the most of the fun activations happening on ground floor, including the Samsung Experience, QVS eyelash bar, Magic Tan nail bar, Eco-Store Experience, Bodyshop make-up, Remix's 'Create Your Own Cover', and KMS Hair Styling.
- $15 gives you an allocated seat to the show or seminar of your choosing, plus all of the above
- $25 gives you a front-row seat to the show or seminar of your choosing, a goodie-bag and access to everything else on-site!
Multiple show and seminar tickets at the above prices can be purchased to provide you with a seat at a number of different shows and seminars across the weekend.
Note: The venue opens at 10AM and closes at 6.30PM on both days.
YMCA Walk-the-Line Show
A not to be missed showcase of Auckland's up and coming young designers. 60 young designers have entered a garment each to try and take the title of 2012's most promising young designer.
Paper Dresses Scholarship Seminar
19,500 lineal metres of Kleenex Cottonelle toilet paper went into 34 exquisite paper dresses made by talented young Diploma students from NZ Fashion Tech, at their Auckland and Wellington fashion schools.

KMS California will be bringing hair to life with the arrival of Global Artistic Director, Clive Allwright. Clive has spent more than two decades travelling the globe working on high end fashion shows, over 10 of which have included leading the global direction for KMS California. With an all access pass to creating this season's hair looks, attendees will be treated to Clive's larger-than-life character and unparalleled stage presence as he shares the 'how to' on hot hair.
All in attendance and those who have purchased KMS on the day will be in the draw for Clive's live giveaway at the end of the show, an exclusive Lambretta LT50 scooter. Phoenix Cosmetics Show
