      Popular Music: Songwriter of the Year 2012

      Grand Final

      The next wave of New Zealand's young songwriters will be showcased in this competition. A selection of outstanding students from within the Popular Music Programme will perform their original songs supported by a professional backing band.

      Finalists will compete for major prizes courtesy of MusicWorks, KiwiFM, the New Zealand Association of Music Producers (NZAMP), Roundhead Studios, Kog Studio (Mastering), Amstore, and The University of Auckland.
