A Special Sailing to Celebrate a Century of Riverboat Picnics to the unique river-access only park 3 hours sailing up-river.
Organised in association with the Friends of Whanganui River.

Entertainment on the cruise will include jazz favourites the Andrew London Trio with local support.

A full cash bar, Galley service and sausage sizzle will be available on the pier at Hipango Park whilst the Waimarie is docked.

Bring your own Picnic, or enjoy a Picnic Hamper specially prepared by Anndion Lodge and head up into the Park for an afternoon of traditional games and activities. Bring your own kayak (limited space).

Spend around 4 hours at Hipango Park, spot prizes of galley vouchers and other goodies for those in vintage dress.
