If you have ever wondered how olives are turned into luscious olive oil, the new Martinborough Olive Harvest Festival will show you. And how to cook creatively with olive oil.

Over the weekend of 29-30 June 2013 inaugural festival-goers will have the chance to 'choose their pleasure' as the olives follow their tasty journey from tree to table around Martinborough.

Our gastronomic affair starts with a Leisurely Lunch, starring Martinborough's fine Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Local Wairarapa chefs enthusiastically responded to our challenge to create a 3 course festive, leisurely lunch.


Choose your preferred Leisurely Lunch option below to confirm your Full Access ticket to the 2 Day Festival (12.30pm - 8.30pm Sat 29 June & 9.00am - 3.30pm Sun 30 June 2013).

We will confirm your tickets by email. Please bring this with you to the Leisurely Lunch venue you chose, where we will swap it for an ID wristband.

Your wristband ticket includes Leisurely Lunch at the venue of your choice, souvenir information booklet, access to all participating olive groves and their activities including olive pressing at Pressing Engagements, olive-oriented story-telling sessions with a special festival goer price for wine and/or coffee, EVOO tastings at the Martinborough Wine Centre, and a complimentary mulled wine and pizza bread at Saturday's Night Market in The Square. Remember to wear your wristband both days.
