Direct from a hit season at the 2012 Melbourne Fringe Festival and winner of the Tiki Tour Ready Award, Cannonball catapults us into a world both suburban and extraordinary. Darkly revealing and disturbingly funny, ten characters struggle with life, mortality and happiness, as Green Room Award winner Emily Taylor morphs and mutates between them. From a macabre psychiatrist's receptionist, to a faux spiritual CEO, to an evil Cabbage Patch Doll, Taylor twists and transforms through a minefield of adolescent angst, mid-life disappointment and familial discontent. Powered by a unique combination of comic fervour and compelling vulnerability, Cannonball rockets irrepressibly towards the future, wreaking havoc along the way. From this multi award winning solo performer, Cannonball packs a surprising, funny and insightful punch.
