The inaugural Mount Albert Grammar School Fine Art Show will be held from 22-24 August 2014.

The preview evening will be held on Friday 22nd August, from 6.30pm to 10:00pm in the FW Gamble Memorial Hall at Mount Albert Grammar School. Be the first to view and purchase works by over 100 New Zealand artists. 

We have attracted more than 200 works from over 100 professional New Zealand artists, which will be on sale at the school over the weekend.

This exhibition is a valuable opportunity for both established and emerging New Zealand artists to exhibit their work.  Join us to see the hall transformed into a vibrant gallery of oils and acrylics, watercolours and photography.  

Artists include Dick Frizzell, Dean Buchanan, Neil Palmer, Lorraine Rastorfer, Sheyne Tuffery, Nicky Foreman and many more acclaimed New Zealand artists. Work is priced from $55 upwards.

The preview evening includes an auction, a live paint by street artist Husar and entertainment by the School Jazz Band. A fine selection of wine, beer and canapés will be served throughout the evening. Tickets are limited so be in quick.  

Saturday 23rd August 10:00am – 7pm FREE ADMISSION
Bring your friends along on Saturday to view the art. Coffee and tea will be available during the day. A glass of wine may be purchased from 4pm.

Sunday 24th August 10:00am – 1:00pm FREE ADMISSION
Your last chance to view works by the artists and support this great event. 

Pick up of purchased word is available from 3pm in the school hall.

The event is run by Friends of MAGS and all proceeds go to the Mount Albert Grammar Foundation. All proceeds go to the Mount Albert Grammar School Foundation – “Investing in the future of the School”
