Movie Fundraiser for HELP
On Sunday 17th August HELP returns to the Bridgeway Cinema situated in Northcote Point on Auckland’s North Shore.
HELP has an exclusive screening of “The Hundred Foot Journey” produced by Stephen Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey and Juliet Blake. Bring your friends and family to enjoy while supporting HELP and the services we provide to survivors of Sexual Abuse/Sexual Assault.
This engaging movie is about Hassan Kadam and his family, who are displaced from their native India, and settle in a quaint village in the South of France - Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val. Hassan decides this will be the place to open an Indian restaurant, the Maison Mumbai. Once Madame Mallory hears of this she protests that their will be an Indian restaurant a hundred feet from her own Le Saule Pleureur, a Michelin starred, classical French restaurant. A culinary war escalates between the two establishments.
Join us to see the fireworks between Madame Mallory and Hassan and see if they can eventually live in culinary harmony.
