Barry is a South African globetrotter, and the first South African to headline four shows at the prestigious Harrah's Improv at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. This year he will open the Hong Kong 2014 Comedy Festival, building on a career that’s seen him fill 4,000-seat auditoriums with his solo shows and delight the notoriously tough crowds at London’s Clapham Grand.

His global track record highlights Barry’s ability to cut through all boundaries and appeal to any nationality, race or age. His gregarious personality makes him a people’s person, happy to engage with the audience before and after his shows. 

In 2013 his industry peers paid tribute to Barry by presenting him with A Lifetime Achiever Award in South Africa’s Annual Comics’ Choice Awards.
