'DREAMS' is the newest creation from the ensemble that has become known for it's elaborate and powerful musical concert experiences. 

Starring 9 versatile multi-instrumentalists, this miniature orchestra will serenade you with an eclectic mix of music by artists such as Stravinsky, Piazolla, The Smiths, Calexico, Fleetfoxes and Radiohead. Blackbird Ensemble's setlist includes the usual disregard for genre, binding its concert together with thematic links; this time, music inspired by dreamstates, nightmares, lullabies and the rituals of the bedroom. 

Both intimate and tender, yet powerful and playful, Blackbird's DREAM show explores the fragility of our sleeping states; our exposed subconsious thoughts, our fears, and our vulnerabilities. Alternatively, the safety and comfort of one's own bedroom, and the intimacy shared within it.
