NZ composer Philip Norman’s magical ‘A Christmas Carol’ is a delightful festive treat for audiences of all age - full of catchy tunes, light hearted or dramatic characters with story-telling ensembles and an inspirational storyline.

This musical adaptation of the world’s best known Christmas story by Charles Dickens abounds with favourite characters including Ebenezer Scrooge, faithful Bob Cratchit, the spooky Marley, poor Tiny Tim and the three marvellous ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet-to-Come. The show is suitable for all ages.

‘A Christmas Carol’ features a large and talented cast of singers including Aidan Gill as Scrooge; Emma Sloman, Leila Alexander and Mark Covich as the 3 ghosts, Oliver Mitchell and Charlotte Pridham as the Cratchits and with Rosemarie Brown, Kelly Harris, Arthur Adams-Close, Ally Bijl-Brown and Timothy Burrell in supporting principal roles alongside other, and a talented senior ensemble and children’s chorus.

Opera Factory’s performances of ‘A Christmas Carol’ onstage at the Raye Freedman Theatre will be costumed and set in cockney Bow of London in the mid 1800’s. Evans Chuang and Megan Quatermass head the music team and the director is Sally Sloman.
