New Zealand International Thai Kickboxing presents the Fight of the Century,
New Zealand vs China, Philip Lam and Lee Gar 40th Anniversary Show. 

Last year, Phillip Lam Promotions sent New Zealand’s top ranked Muay Thai fighters to China to take on their best. The event was witnessed by thousands as New Zealand fought Chinas best in what turned out to be a night of adrenaline pumping non-stop Muay Thai action which had people standing in their seats as they were not disappointed as combatants stood in the ring and went toe to toe not backing down.

China is now sending their best Muay Thai exponents to take on some of New Zealand’s top ranked Muay Thai fighters for promises to be the grudge match of the century. 

Philip Lam set up New Zealand’s oldest Thai Boxing gym 40 years ago. This show is a commemoration of the introduction of Thai Boxing into New Zealand. Let us join in this celebration as we witness these fine athletes give it their all in the ring.

Today Thai Boxing is picked up by young and old, male and female, as a sport, fitness, health and discipline.
