Respite is a comedic monologue about a week in July 2011 when I attempted to overcome my depression and anxiety by transforming into 100% ethical person free of all contradictions and hypocrisies. Instead I ended up in Mental Health Respite.

Eamonn Marra is an alternative comedian living in Wellington. He won Best Newcomer (Wellington) in the 2014 New Zealand International Comedy Festival, Stand Out Performer/Most Original Comedian in the 2013 Wellington Comedy Awards.

Everything is sad and funny and nothing is anything else.

Latecomers cannot be admitted.
