“To define Otherness you must know what the Other is.”

WHITE/OTHER is an expression of race and identity. It aims to dissect the layers of prejudice, un-knowing, and alienation to challenge our thinking and shift our actions.

It is about operating between the binary of White/Other and confronting the dominant culture, from both the inside and outside.

The show follows Alice* on her journey to self un-discovery as she questions her existence and finds her authentic voice.

WHITE/OTHER is a wildly theatrical, bizarre, and un-sensible show that combines startling visual imagery with stream of subconsciousness prosing lovingly crafted to explode in your face holes.

Written and performed by Alice Canton (ORANGUTAN).

*Not the writer’s real name.

Contains coarse language and mature themes.
Latercomers cannot be admitted into theatre.
